The Arrival: Day 1 (longest day)

i think its Friday 6am in california, and this is the first i showered and brushed my teeth since tuesday. it was probably 22 hours to get from sfo to chiang mai. I made friends with vietnamese and thai people sitting next to me. It was wonderful.

I haven't gotten uninterrupted sleep since tuesday morning. I have no idea what time is what. Planes are not a good place to sleep or even rest for that fact. We've arrived several days early and met with Aleck and his wife who are Priscilla's parents. They've been real nice in bringing us around. I feel as if I'm on family vacation with Casa chu at times because i'm the only non blood relative. The real work has yet to begin. For now we are just adjusting. I hope you enjoy these few pictures.

Boat restaurant that everyone raves about next to the university. Its good, especially the pac pao pow pow boom shacka lacka...haha everything sounds like a variation of what i just said

Thank you gabe for sending us off and waiting at the airport so long with us.

This is Eugene discovering that the showers at the tai pei airport were locked restricting him from his annual shower at the airport during his trip to thailand.

This is a picture from our room here at the best western "resort and spa". And that is our "mountain view".
(Sorry let me rephrase because the quotations are not enough to express my sarcasm. AND this is a picture FROM our room, this is a view of the private residence behind our best western. and the mountain view, is like the city mountain view. Not many mountains in sight)

  4. Hi Patrick,

How warm is it? Are you going to take shower 3 times a day? Restrict yourself; smell too good may keep people away from you! Ha! Ha!

Family is praying for you! Miss you!
PS: Maggie and birds have food and water every day.
